Melissa Amoros (Meli) is a Spanish woman entrepreneur born and raised in Venezuela. She came to the US as an international student and graduated with a BS and MS from GeorgiaTech in Electrical and Computer Engineering with the highest honors. She went to work for Texas Instruments for the EdTech business and in 2010 founded Krasamo Inc. to assist other companies in developing custom mobile software solutions. Over the years, Krasamo has grown into a leader in the digital transformation and Internet of Things space.

As a woman in tech, Meli is aware of the many challenges facing girls in STEM careers and women business owners. She is an active community participant, who likes to employ, mentor, and inspire young women engineers facing the reality of gender inequality to become software developers and leaders in the industry.

Meli is also a mother, and she is an active oil painter in the DFW artist community.
